King (Z2) - Rise of Tyrants
As a Senior UI Artist on Rise of Tyrants, a F2P mid-core PvP strategy mobile game and unofficial sequel to Battle Nations, I joined as the third UI contributor, inheriting an established visual style and player experience. My role focused on expanding the UI while staying true to the game’s gritty, satirical military aesthetic and material design-inspired interactions.
Working in Scaleform and Adobe Animate, I handled end-to-end implementation of new features, screens, and live event content. The work balanced functional clarity with thematic flair.
While the game saw a small but dedicated following in test markets, it didn’t hit it’s targeted KPIs and was shut down before worldwide release. Still, it was a fun, fast-paced project and a solid example of hands-on UI execution within a well-defined visual language.
